Dear massage client of Theramas,
Everyone is aware of Covid-19 (Corona) virus.
I only make appointments with people who I know for certain are healthy and they do not fall into the risk categories as defined by the RIVM (National Institute for Health and Environment).
You cannot make an appointment if you are deemed vulnerable as defined by the RIVM. Vulnerable people or people with poor health are those who are 70 years or older and those who have one of the following ailments:
– Abnormal and functional disorder of the airwaves and lungs
– Chronic heart disease
– Diabetes
– Serious kidney disorders which has lead to dialysis or kidney transplants
Reduced immunity to infections due to:
o Medicine for auto-immune disease
o Post-organ transplant
o Haematological sickness (blood disease)
o Congenital or acquired disorders where treatment is necessary
o Chemotherapy or radiation for cancer patients
o An HIV infection (consult with treatment provider)
In addition you cannot make an appointment if you (or a member of your household) has one of the following complaints:
(nose) cold
Coughing or sneezing
Runny nose
Sore throat
Temperature of 38 degrees or above
Shortness of breath
Headache
Burning eyes
Tiredness
Feeling sick
Diarrhea
You can only make an appointment after you are complaint-free for 24 hours.
Should you not feel well enough to come to your appointment due to the current circumstances, I of course totally understand.
Additional measures in my practice
What do I ask of you?
No handshaking, wash hands, cough and sneeze into your elbow and use paper handkerchiefs.
Don’t come too early, preferably come in just before your appointment time.
Come alone, I would like to limit the number of people in the room.
When you come in please wash your hands (I will show you where).
Keep 1.5 metre distance.
If you don’t feel well on the day of your appointment and are unsure of what to do, call me and then we can discuss whether you are able to come for your appointment.
Please pay with bank pin card or I can send you a tikkie or an invoice.
If you have to cancel due to health reasons you will not be charged.
Always follow the instructions of the masseur.
I hope you will understand if your appointment has to be rescheduled due to the current situation
My precautionary measures:
I show no signs of illness.
I wear during your massage visit all the time a face mask.
No hand-shaking.
After every client I clean/disinfect every surface which they have touched.
I ventilate the treatment room.
At the beginning of every visit I will go through some verbal questions with you.
